Post Court
Walk down Slovenská Street and cross the bridge over the Teplá River, continue right and walk by Beethoven's Arbour. Then walk up the gently climbing Okružní cesta (Circular Path) to the Na Výšině (At the Height) Arbour. Descend through the woods to the terminal stop of the Karlovy Vary – Březová bus line.
Březová
In the municipality of Březová, you may find the well-known Pirkenhammer porcelain factory established in 1813 and the factory museum, you may also visit the valley reservoir on the Teplá River, which continues into Karlovy Vary where it mouths into the Ohře River in the city centre.
An iron mill used to stand in Březová where the Russian Tsar, Peter the Great, showcased his craftsmanship by forging a bar and a horseshoe in 1711. This event is commemorated by a memorial plaque installed on the site of the former blacksmith shop. Another architectonically interesting site in Březová is the half-timbered building known as Starý mlýn (Old Mill), which was built in 1898.
You may end your walk in the pleasant atmosphere of the Staropramen Restaurant, which is next to the bus stop of the Karlovy Vary – Březová line. The restaurant offers a wide variety of traditional Czech dishes and beverages.
