Visit a unique spot high on the rocks where modern design blends with the style of the 1970s—here you’ll find the Saunia Thermal Resort with 2 pools of warm thermal water and the Saunia Sauna World.

You’ll be impressed by the size of both pools as well as the spacious sun-drenched terraces overlooking the center of Karlovy Vary.

In the thermal pool you can relax in 38 °C, 100% natural spring water.

The pool center offers its visitors fun, rest, and relaxation.

The pool center in Karlovy Vary, built next to the Multifunctional Mattoni Arena, offers visitors fun, relaxation, and rest. It is equipped with modern technology and plenty of attractions to delight both children and adults.

The pool center features a 25-meter swimming pool with six lanes and a relaxation zone equipped with whirlpools, counter-current jets, and massage nozzles. Guests can also enjoy a whirlpool, a water slide, a lounging area with deck chairs, and both steam and dry saunas with showers, a relaxation room, and an ice-cold plunge pool. Children will love the kids’ teaching pool with a fun water attraction.

The Rolava Leisure Complex is a place for sports and relaxation in the heart of Karlovy Vary. The area features sandy beaches and a natural swimming lake with two islands. Lifeguards monitor the water area, and a first-aid station is available.

This barrier-free complex also offers a children’s playground, a large air trampoline, a 1,300-meter inline skating track, a workout zone, and outdoor fitness equipment.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the complex.

Natural Swimming Pool MichalMichal Lake was created on a reclaimed site of former brown coal mining. Today, Michal Swimming Pool is a modern water complex with many attractions, located near Sokolov close to the Karlovy Vary–Cheb road. Because of its more than 500-meter sandy beach, people often call it the “Sea of Sokolov.” In addition to the beach, visitors can enjoy exciting attractions for children and adults, headed by a giant water slide, a variety of sports facilities, excellent amenities, refreshments, and, above all, an expanse of crystal-clear water. The Ostrov outdoor swimming pool is located on a hillside above Ostrov, near the hospital.Here you will find a brand-new large 25-meter swimming pool with swim lanes, plus a relaxation zone and fun water features. Enjoy a water slide, a wide slide, a climbing net, floating lilies, and more attractions.The complex also includes a small pool and a wading pool for the youngest children.For visitors there are changing rooms, restrooms, secure storage lockers, refreshments, and a beach volleyball court.In front of the swimming area there is a large parking lot where every visitor can park comfortably and free of charge.Opening Hours09:00 – 20:00; attractions such as the water slide and wide slide are open from 10:00 – 19:00.From 09:00 – 10:00 and 18:00 – 20:00 the attractions are turned off and the large pool is reserved for swimmers. Please respect those who wish to swim quietly. Thank you.Capacity of the swimming pool: 1,000 people

In Agricola Aquacentre, you will find a pool with two swimming lanes (25 m). A small pool with a waterfall is prepared for our smallest visitors, and older children can enjoy the toboggan. In the summer, you can take advantage of the sun-bathing terrace and sun meadow.In the Sauna Mine, you will discover steam baths, infra-saunas, an herbal sauna, and a Finnish sauna. For cooling down, you can take advantage of the outdoor herbal resting spot, and you can relax on the rooftop terrace with the barefoot trail.

Elizabeth Spa

The pool complex is located right in the city center inside the Elizabeth’s Spa building, offering excellent accessibility for spa guests as well as residents of Karlovy Vary and the surrounding area.

It has long been very popular and well-used, thanks to its opening hours and affordable admission prices.
