Beethoven's Arbour

The arbour was built in memory of a concert performed at the spa by the famous composer together with Italian violinist G.B. Polleder in August 1812.

Richmond Spa Sanatorium

The Richmond Spa Sanatorium was built in the early 19th century and its present-day appearance is the result of gradual conversion. It is seated amidst beautiful, extensive parks where you may also find a monument dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven. The monument was created by local sculptor Hugo Uher in 1929, the nearby bronze bust of Polish poet A. Mickiewicz was sculpted by B. Werner in 1947.

Deer Statue behind the Richmond Spa Sanatorium

The statue was probably created by Berlin sculptor A. Kiss.
