Natural Swimming Pool Michal

Michal Lake was created on a reclaimed site of former brown coal mining. Today, Michal Swimming Pool is a modern water complex with many attractions, located near Sokolov close to the Karlovy Vary–Cheb road. Because of its more than 500-meter sandy beach, people often call it the “Sea of Sokolov.” In addition to the beach, visitors can enjoy exciting attractions for children and adults, headed by a giant water slide, a variety of sports facilities, excellent amenities, refreshments, and, above all, an expanse of crystal-clear water. Its exceptional cleanliness ranks Michal among the cleanest natural water reservoirs in the Czech Republic.
