Art Gallery
Turn right from the Art Gallery and walk through the park. Continue along Labitzkého stezka (Labitzky's Path) and Findlaterova stezka (Findlater's Path) to the Ecce Homo crossroads where you will turn right and walk down to Chotkova pěšina (Chotek's Foot Path). Continue right through the serpentines leading to Pod Jelením skokem (Below the Deer Jump) Street and to Zámecká kolonáda (Castle Colonnade).
If you depart from Findlater's Path, you may admire an amazing view of Karlovy Vary from the Charles IV Lookout. The lookout was built in Neo-Gothic style in 1877.
Castle Tower
Zámecká věž (Castle Tower) is the last standing remnant of the original small Gothic castle of Emperor Charles IV from the mid 14th century. The tower acquired its present-day appearance during two reconstructions carried out in 1608 and the 18th century. In the past, important visitors arriving to the town were greeted by trumpet horns sounding from the gallery of the tower.
The Castle Tower offers you an opportunity to end your spa walk in the pleasant ambience of the stylish Charles IV Restaurant while enjoying delicious food and beverages.
