Funicular to the Diana Observation Tower

Walk down the gently descending Cesta Přátelství (Friendship Path) to Chata Přátelství (Friendship Lodge), continue to the "U Obrazu" (By the Picture) crossroads where you will turn left and walk up the Friendship Path to the observation tower on Doubská Mountain (Aberg Hotel). From there, walk down the asphalt road to the Saint Linhart Restaurant.

Continue down Tuhnická cesta (Tuhnice Path) to the crossing with Doubská pěšina (Doubská Foot Path) and walk down the foot path to the "U Zámečku" (At the Chateau) stop of bus line No. 6.

In the past, a number of restaurants for excursionists used to attract visitors to take a walk in the surroundings of Karlovy Vary, often to have a diet breakfast after a thorough morning drinking cure. Today, visitors are mainly attracted by the tranquillity of the promenades in the spa woods, by charming alcoves and beautiful views of the spa and the countryside from numerous observation and lookout towers scattered throughout the surroundings of Karlovy Vary.

It is undoubtedly nice to admire the spa woods from the colonnades, yet to let yourselves be embraced by the picturesque woods and to walk along the intertwining paths will not only strengthen your body but also soothe your soul.
