(Bus stop of line No. 8) – Walk up the gently climbing forest road (Gogolova cesta - Gogol's Road) to Goethe's Lookout, continue to the left and down the serpentines to the crossroads of forest paths where you will turn left to Pražská (Prague) Street and the "Černý kůň" (Black Horse) stop of bus line No. 8.

Goethova vyhlídka

The lookout was built on Vrch Věčného života (Eternal Life Hill) in 1889 according to the design of renowned architects Fellner and Helmer. The Neo-Gothic structure houses a restaurant with a lookout tower offering a magnificent view of the Ore Mountains, Slavkov Forest and the Doupov Mountains. The lookout was the frequent destination of Johann Wolfang Goethe during his mineralogical and botanical walks.

At the tower you will find various attractions.
In addition to the adrenaline-pumping Zipline, there is also a Trail full of ghosts, or a three-kilometer-long Goethe geological walk. The special "Trail" route also starts a short distance behind the tower and is intended for cyclists on special bikes.
