Statement of the Infocentre director

15. 3. 2020 | From surroundings of Karlovy Vary

Dear visitors to Karlovy Vary, dear spa visitors,

After the state of emergency has been announced in the whole Czech Republic, all cultural, social and sports activities and events have been reduced. With regard to the health and lives of all of us, we fully respect this regulation in Karlovy Vary. These days, when social life is limited, even inappropriate, please keep calm, do not panic and do not worry about what you do not know.

After the winter, which has not been so good, a beautiful spring is coming. The weather forecast and spa woods surrounding our town encourage everyone to relax, go for a walk or on a spring bike ride. The surroundings of Karlovy Vary offer a really varied range of places you can visit. We have added some tips for the most attractive of them below.

Follow our websites and social networks. We are continuously preparing further tips for you.

I wish you a beautiful spring and peaceful days,

Josef Dlohoš, the head of the Information Centre of the Town of Karlovy Vary
