SPA WAFERS
A walk through the Karlovy Vary spa centre without a spa wafer? No way! This sweet delicacy is traditionally sought after by all visitors walking along the colonnades. Round spa wafers used to be home-baked as early as the 18th century. Gradually wafer workshops started appearing where wafers of lots of flavours have been made until these days.
And remember the saying which is still true: If you have not tasted a spa wafer in Karlovy Vary, you have not been there...
