Do you love stories that shaped history? Karlovy Vary is part of the elite company of the 11 most famous spa towns in Europe (Great Spa Towns of Europe), and this year we are celebrating the 5th anniversary of its historic inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

We want to celebrate this anniversary primarily with you, the neighbors and patriots of our city

On Saturday, April 18, the city's landmark – the Castle Tower – will transform into a center of knowledge, music, and flavors. From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, you will experience an atmosphere that connects a glorious past with modern design. It is the perfect opportunity to take a walk through the spa center and look at our home from a completely different angle – perhaps through a telescope, using augmented reality, or thanks to stories about the prominent figure of Baron von Lützow.

• 11:00     DIZAJNPARK Workshop – A Little Treasure from a Great Spa  In this creative workshop, children will make their own spa souvenir inspired by the tradition, culture, and atmosphere of the famous spa. Through creating, they will discover what makes Karlovy Vary exceptional and why it is a UNESCO site. Launch of the interactive UNESCO trail DIZAJNPARK – Become a Spa City Designer Join us on an interactive UNESCO trail with worksheets that will guide you through Karlovy Vary and show you a city full of history, design, and architecture. During this unconventional walk, you will learn about the importance of the spa industry for the Karlovy Vary Region, thanks to which Karlovy Vary is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Introduction of a new interactive cipher game – Elixir of Life walk with Dr. David Becher and uncover the secrets of the spa industry and the elixir of life itself
