THE KARLOVY VARY ROSE
Karlovy Vary curative springs are saturated with minerals. Through fast vaporization of water, they settle on all objects which come in contact with it.
Thanks to this phenomenon visitors to the spa town can enjoy the roses of Karlovy Vary and further stone-like souvenirs which "grow over" by aragonite. After being sprayed with mineral water for two weeks, an impregnated parchment paper rose covers in a layer of aragonite and the famous souvenir is born.
