Swing Christmas 2018

After a successful and utterly sold out tour in 2017, here comes another Swing Christmas with its great soloists and fantastic big band. The two-hour concert program is hosted by singer Jan Smigmator and multi-genre singer Leona Machálková. Same as last year, they are accompanied by Felix Slováček Big Band, one of the best swing orchestras of the European music scene. The gala concert presents the famous swing‘s golden era Christmas evergreens, including compositions of Glenn Miller and Countess Basie, the songs of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Michael Bubble, Barbara Streisand, and pop music hits in original big band arrangements. 

Saxophonist Markéta Smejkalová will be performing on stage alongside the big band.
