Marek Šmaus Quartet

Excellent Prague ensemble founded by the guitarist, composer and teacher Marek Šmaus.

The repertory of the band draws from modern jazz and funk material, including also jazz standards rendered in a unique individual arrangement by the band players. Music performed by this quartet appeals to a wide audience, not only jazz fans.

The ensemble regularly performs at jazz festivals and in jazz clubs at home as well as abroad. The best characteristic of its concerts is high quality and pleasant sound.
