Spa without borders

The exhibition will show how mutually intertwined Czech and German architectural and cultural influences in spa industry, but also emphasizes the global importance of the spa towns of the West Bohemian spa triangle. "The exhibition is an important part of the presentation of the nomination process, the most important European spa, titled" The Great Spas of Europe " and it is trying to be listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We believe that through the exhibition manages to show visitors the important role played by our spa, "said Peter Zahradníček, councilor for culture, heritage preservation and tourism. The exhibition was prepared by Karlovy Vary Region in cooperation with the National Heritage Institute, Regional Specialist Office in Loket and Liberec, with the association of municipalities "Czech spa - salons of Europe", Museum of Karlovy Vary, along Karlovy Vary Region, Statutory City of Karlovy Vary and a consortium of legal entities "Imperial Spa Karlovy Vary."

Exhibits were loaned from Museum Karlovy Vary, Franzensbad Municipal Museum, Metropolitan Museum Zittau / Städtische Museen Zittau and the Museum of Southeast Moravia in Zlín - Museum of Luhačovice Zálesí.
