Edith, the little sparrow

The production maps the journey through life of famous French singer Edith Piaf, from her first songs in the streets of Paris, through famous cabarets, up to a triumphal concert at the Paris Olympia. From her roving childhood, though a stormy youth till her matured life in the world of show-business, it reflects her fatal loves and fight with alcohol, drugs and the insidious disease of which she eventually died.

The flights and falls of Edith Piaf became impulses in the search for new forms of expression. As a result, a "dancing musical" came into being - a theatrical form which is new and unique in Czech theatres. The best-known and most beautiful songs of Edith Piaf will be sung in a fascinating and authentic interpretation by Radka Fišarová, the youngest performer of Evita in the world.
