A comic opera in three acts by W. A. Mozart. It was created on order of Emperor Joseph II. for Vienna's Burgtheater. This is the story of Konstanze and her maid Blondi, abducted by the Turkish Pasha Selim to his harem, from which they are intricately liberated by ancés Belmonte and Pedrillo. The work is from the early Mozart's golden age and includes very demanding singing parts.
